How we did it.

Stylish Solutions represents Emtek, Schaub and Yale Expressions to more than 400 hardware dealers across five states. The team of three ran the whole business out of one personal Gmail account with a shared password. Customers could not tell who was answering, two people could end up on the same reply, and years of warranty claims lived in that inbox. The hardware carries lifetime warranties, so those old threads still matter.

So the first job was not the website. We moved the business onto Google Workspace on its own domain: an inbox for each person, a shared info@ address, and the full email history (48 GB) carried across so anyone on the team can still search every old claim.

Then the website: a fast, custom-built site for dealers and manufacturers, including a step-by-step guide and printable PDF for the Emtek dealer portal, written from the team’s real sign-up process so they can send a link instead of walking each dealer through it.

Last, a private client portal replaced the shared Google Drive folder. The team sends photos and product releases, asks for changes to the site, and sees where each request stands, all on one page. Try a demo of the portal.

Straight answers.

Why start with email instead of the website?+

Because the shared login was costing them every day: replies nobody could attribute, people stepping on each other in one inbox, and no way to give anyone their own account. A new website would not have fixed any of that.

Did they lose any old email in the move?+

No. The entire history of the old account was carried into the new business email, so the whole team can search past warranty claims and dealer threads.

What is the client portal?+

A private page for each client, no account or password needed. They send photos and files, ask for changes to their site, see the status of each request, and see how their site is doing.
